Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative website to use when FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). NAVSEA, intends to issue a request for proposal to Computer Products Incorporated, 3168 Spring Street, Fairfax, VA, 22031 for a basic quantity of 20,000 man hours of engineering and technical support services for the Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA). The estimated Period of Performance (POP) is fifteen (15) months after contract award. There will be four (4) options with 20,000 man hours of engineering and technical support services for COBRA each option year. The POP for each! option is fifteen (15) months after the option is exercised. Computer Products, Inc. is the designer, developer and licenser of COBRA and is the only firm that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide the needed effort within the Navy?s required timeframe. No other source has the technical qualifications to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy?s requirements.
