Description
You are cordially invited to submit a quote to provide Temporary Services Support to the Corporation for National and Community Services for an Executive Assistant and Scheduler/Secretary IV for the Chief Executive Office. All firms or individuals responding must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code), must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) https://www.bpn.gov/ccr. All responsive emerging small business offerors will be considered by the agency. The following provisions apply: 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212 and 52.212-4. Once the solicitation is posted, on or about November 1, 2006, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You may download the solicitation and mail your quote to the address below: Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) 1201 New York Avenue, NW, Room #8404, Washington, DC 20525 C/O Lionel Johnson, 202 606-6983 The qualifying person should have experience in managing the day to day operations of the office of the CEO to provide a variety of assistance including: ?Helps manage the day-to-day operations of the immediate office of the CEO. ?Manages the schedule of the COS. This includes day-to-day coordination and logistics as well as long-range planning and preparation. This responsibility includes recognizing the priorities of the COS, assisting with the staffing of these meetings and making logistical arrangements. ?Backs-up the CEO?s scheduler. ?Provides informational material to the COS for his/her use in conferences/meetings or to ?a wide variety of internal and external requesters. ?Pursues special initiatives and projects that are deemed priorities by the CEO and/or COS. ?Works with program staff throughout the agency to coordinate briefing materials. ?Represents the COS to other Corporation offices, officials of other agencies, private and public institutions, and the general public. ?Receives incoming calls and visitors screening those that need to see the COS from those that can be assisted by others within the agency. ?Responds to scheduling inquiries. ?Assists with travel arrangements for all of the COSs travel and assists with the travel orders and travel vouchers for the CEO, the COS and 2-3 other CEO staff. ?Assists the COS with daily administrative functions, handling sensitive and confidential matters. ?Works closely with other staff in the office of the CEO. The qualifying person shall have the knowledge and ability to: ?Collect and disseminate data, screen and refer calls, and direct program documents and correspondence ?Comprehensive knowledge of general office procedures, practices and skills, and federal travel order and voucher preparation. ?Skill in organizing and compiling data, determining priorities and making sound judgments - including delegation of work, controlling access to supervisor, and handling confidential materials ?Knowledge of word processing and scheduling software (MS-Office suite) ?Highly developed interpersonal skills to represent the office to other internal and external organizations on both routine and sensitive matters Quotes are due at the address below on or before 5:00 pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2006.
