Product util ity, quality, durability, supply consistency, and cost are important. The desired M/CW clothing capability includes multiple layers, from head to toe and next to body through exterior protective outer garments. Garments are worn in various combinations d epending on broad environmental conditions and mountain operation mission requirements. Clothing layers must: physically integrate together and with other combat gear, be durable to the rigors of military use and multiple home and commercial laundering.
