Description
01 NOVEMBER 2006 - Posted questions and responses for question numbers 58 and 59. The anticipated release date for the RFP is 17 November 2006. 21 SEPTEMBER 2006 - Posted Industry Questions and Responses. 17 JULY 2006 - Posted Pre-Solicitation Conference Attendees and presentation. SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) operations and maintenance support services for facilities in the US Central Command Air Force's (USCENTAF) Area of Responsibility (AOR) in Southwest Asia. The planned procurement will provide for electronic equipment maintenance services and air traffic management to support air traffic control operation and maintenance, airfield management, air to ground communications operation and maintenance and aviation weather systems operation and maintenance necessary to meet the mission requirements of the Department of Defense. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, with a provision for Firm-Fixed-Price task orders, Performance-Based type contract for the procurement of USCENTAF ATCALS support services. This procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 with a size standard of $25 million. The primary place of performance is Southwest Asia. The estimated release date for the solicitation is on or about 09 August 2006. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided. On-line RFPs are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No telephone inquiries for this RFP will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency in response to this solicitation. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company, a point of contact, e-mail address and telephone number with their proposal. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation to ensure that it and subsequent amendments have been received from the Internet in their entirety.
