- Description
- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging and meeting space accommodations in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the period of January 29- February 1, 2007. The Local Employment Dynamics Meeting requests lodging on the following dates: Monday, January 29, 10 rooms; Tuesday and Wednesday, January 30-31, 65 rooms each night; and Friday, February 1, 2 rooms. Provide meeting rooms as follows: Tuesday, January 30, 1 breakout room to accommodate 40 in crescent rounds; Wednesday and Thursday, January 31-February 1, 1 General Session (Cresent Rounds for 100 people and audience for 50), 1 Breakout (Cresent Rounds for 80 and audience for 25 people). A 24 hour hold is required on all meeting rooms. Provide AM and PM refreshment breaks and lunch for 30 participants on January 30, 2007 in/near breakout room, and AM and PM refreshment breaks and lunch for 130 participants on January 31-February 1, 2007. The accommodations must have the following: Metro Accessibility, Full Service Restaurant, and AV Equipment Services. The U.S. Census reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate.
