- The U.S. Census Bureau (USCB) intends to enter into a sole source simplified acquisition with Authentium/Command Software, for continued software support services on Part# 04-9000-00 CAV Command Care, Anti-Virus, Client- Quantity 8500; Part# 00-8803-22 CAV XTRA- Free Home Use- COD (Scan only), Quantity 1; and 04-9996-02 SPT-GOLD Upgrade and Update Protection, 8-8 EST, M-F, Quantity 1. This service will run through September 30, 2007 and includes all updates and upgrades. It is the USCB's belief that only Authentium/Command Software can satisfy this requirement. This is not a request for competitive proposals, however, resonses received within 10 days from the posting of this notice will be reviewed and evaluated. Interested companies having the capability to provide the above described services should submit, in writing, their capability statement with cost information to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov or fax to 301-457-8465 within 10 days of this notice. NO Telephone requests will be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the USCB. If no responses are received a sole source contract with Authentium/Command Software will be pursued without further notice.
