Description

In accordance with FAR 6.3002-1, the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection intends to procure on a sole-source basis from CDG, Mississauga, ON a mural and booths. The customized printing processes, proprietary fabric formula and proprietary software used by this vendor produce a product of superior quality to any of the others reviewed. The printing produces clear true color and high resolution in designs/pictures/graphics on fabric that does not wrinkle when folded. These are mounted on light weight collapsible frames that require no tools for assembly. CBP intends to award within 10 days of the date of this notice. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources that feel that they also are capable of fulfilling these requirements may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities within 7 days of publication of this notice. This information may also be considered for future procurements. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and may be sent via email to susan.wallace@dhs.gov or faxed to her attention at 317-298-1344. No phone calls will be accepted. If no other responses are received, award will be made on 11/14/2006. The award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
