Description

This procurement will be awarded as a 5-Yr Requirements contract to a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The item that is being procured is the M254 Service Kit, NSN: 1040-00-157-6974, Part Number: 116-3-1042. DESC: FOR THE DISPENSER, RIOT CONTROL AGENT, PORTABLE. MAJOR COMPONENTS ARE: GAUGE ASSEMBLIES, CHARGING HOSE ASSEMBLIES, TRANSFER TUBE ASSEMBLY, QUICK DISCONNECT COUPLING, FILLING ADAPTER, ETC. The estimated maximum quantity for this item is 200 each. First Article Testing will be required. FOB is DESTINATION. Estimated issue date is November 22, 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.h tm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is u nder no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested par ties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain a ny said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your b id or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following inform ation; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. All or a part of this actio n is an unfunded FY07 requirement. Note 1 and Note 26 apply.
