- This is a Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this announcement is to identify firms that possess both the capability and experience to provide services that meet the Government's requirement. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a Requ est for Quote or Proposals (RFQ or RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. No solicitation currently exists; therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. There is no assurance a solicitation will result from this notice. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized at FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov). It is the firms responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. The Center for Health Care Contracting, U.S. Army Medical Command is seeking firms that possess the ability to provide the full range of ancillary health care services (personal and non-personal) to various Department of Defense Military Treatment Faciliti es (MTFs) for CONUS locations. For the purposes of this sources sought notice, ancillary providers are those providers other than physicians and nurses that work to support the patient's health and well-being; for example, pharmacy technicians, dietitians , laboratory technologists and physical therapists. The locations and FTE requirements of the MTFs that may need these services are unknown at this time. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 622110, General Medical and Surgical Hospitals. The small business size standard is $31.5M. All e-mail responses from pros pective sources must provide the company name, business size (to include any SBA certifications, such as 8(a), HUB Zone, etc), corporate affiliations (to include joint venture partners, teaming partners and prime or subcontractors), mailing address, teleph one number, point of contact and return e-mail address within the body of their response. A narrative detailing your firm's experience and capabilities (both technical and geographic), not to exceed five (5) pages, is also requested. In addition, please provide a list of customers (Government/non-Government) within the past five (5) years highlighting similar work performed.
