Description
Industry Day, Atlanta, Georgia. Construction Management Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Construction Management Contracts. The Government intends to award up to four (4) Contracts. On Monday, November 20, 2006, The United States General Services Administration (GSA), will conduct an Industry Day for Small Business Architect / Engineer firms which may be interested in interviewing with the Short Listed Architect / Engineer Firms as possible consultants (subcontractors) for up to four (4) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Construction Management Contracts. This Industry Day will be conducted in The Summit Exchange at The Summit United States Federal Building, 401 West Peachtree, Atlanta, Georgia, from 2 pm to 4 pm. The Summit Federal Building is a secured Federal facility so additional time should be allowed to clear security prior to the meeting. The contracts to be awarded will be up to four (4) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Construction Management Contracts. Each Contract will include a base year plus four (4) additional one year unilateral options. The minimum ordering limitation is $5,000 per contract. The maximum ordering limitation for each contract will be $20,000 per year. The Government?s program objectives for these contracts are: 1) Provide Construction Management Services in the eight (8) states in The Southeast Sunbelt Region; 2) Enable GSA to supplement its in-house resources by using the designated contract Construction Management Team as an extension of its staff; and, 3) To provide GSA with expert consulting services for a variety of technical tasks and projects. For additional information, please go to www.FedBizOpps.Gov for the official project announcement. Industry Days (formally termed Small Business Subcontracting Networking Sessions) are intended to affirm GSA?s recognition of the talent that exists in the Small Business Community and its commitment to opening a dialogue between qualified Small Business Firms in that community which may be qualified to bid as consultants on these contracts. At this Industry Day, Small Business firms capable of providing Construction Management Services will be given an opportunity to meet the GSA Contract Team, listen to an explanation of the scope of the contracts and the contract procedures and methods, to participate in a question and answer session with Contract Team members, and to interview one-on-one with The Short Listed Firms. All participants need to be aware that the Federal government is prohibited by law from attempting to influence the selection or non-selection of consultants / subcontractors. Any contracts which may result from an interview at this session will be strictly private sector arrangements. The Government will not be a party to them. Questions about this IDIQ Industry Day should be directed to David Gibson, GSA?s Small Business Advocate for The Public Buildings Service in The Southeast Sunbelt Region (404) 331-2366, E-Mail DavidA.Gibson@GSA.GOV.
