Description

J--The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to Overhaul the Yaw Trim Servo, UH-60. The Input/Output NSN: 1680-01-242-2066, Input/Output P/N: 70400-02260-121. The proposed contractual actio n will be a five-year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity is 120 each, maximum quantity 1800 each. The maximum quantity includes a 20% Foreign Military Sales quantity of 300 each. The Go vernments required output schedule is 40 each per month commencing 90 days after award. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and as such requires overhaul from an approved source IAW DFAR 209.270-3. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance wi th the manufacturers blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The approved source is Kearfott Guidance and Navigation Corporation (CAGE 05088). Firms that can perform the above effort are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309 , Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telephone or e-mail requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by data fax to (256) 313-8194 or mailed only to, A TTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-M, Ernestine Small, Contract Specialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
