Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice of intent to conduct a commercial item acquisition. The Solicitation, Evaluation, and Award procedures of FAR Part 13.106-1, 13.106-2 and 13.106-3 are being used. The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to purchase the following items: Switchboard, Power Distribution and Ship Service Generator Control (2 each), in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Items being purchased hereunder shall be provided with commercial data for provisioning, commercial warranties, operating manuals and test agenda. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), as a result of this competition. The details of the salients will be included in RFP HSCG40-07-R-40011. A complete description of the contract line items and delivery schedule will be included in the RFP. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination. All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the Request for Proposal. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. A solicitation is forth coming and will be released on or about November 9, 2006. It is the Offeror?s responsibility to monitor the EPS System for changes or amendments.
