- Description
- In accordance with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76, (revised May 29, 2003), this notice represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a public-private streamlined competition of the commercial activity functions characterized as custodial services. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to conduct this study in accordance with Attachments B and C of the Circular A-76. Currently, the custodial services are being performed at the FBI Headquarters by a workforce consisting of Federal employees and employees of a NISH Contractor under the Javits-Wagner-O’Day (JWOD) program. In order to enhance productivity and gain efficiencies and economies of scale, the services being performed by Government employees will be competed. It is expected that a solicitation will be released on or about May 15, 2006, with private sector proposals restricted to a NISH contractor under the JWOD program. Responses to the solicitation (Request for Proposal) package will be due on or about June 15, 2006. The projected end date of the study is August 13, 2006.
