- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-07-T-0088. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-13 and DFARS Change Notice 20061026. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334290 and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. This is a sole source action with Real Time Logic, Inc., Colorado Springs, CO the OEM of the Seven slot Telemetrix Chassis. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Detachment Seal Beach has a request for the following: CLIN 0001-2 Each, Telemetrix 505-S to include the following: RTL-CHA-7, 7-slot Telemetrix Chassis w/LCD, l ea, RTL-ST51 10-512/400 MVME-51 10400 MHz, PPC CPU wI 5 12MB2PMC slots, Serial port,100MB ENET, l ea, RTL-PMC-STACK PMC Stacker, 2 ea, RTL-SCB-K117 SCB wI TTL/RS-422 signal levels, l ea, RTL-DFP Digital Front-End Processor Module, 2 ea, RTL-OCTALPMC 8 channel serial RS-232 PMC Module, l ea, RTL-VM7O Digital Vector Modulator PMC Module, l ea, RTL-DBP Digital Baseband Processor PMC Module, 2 ea, CLIN ? 0002, 2 Each, RTL-SPT-SYS T505 Annual System Support, Spare NSGS Baseband Unit. The units are unique pieces of the telemetry equipment that are identical to other units uased as various site. Delivery is 90 days ARO. FOB Destination. Place of delivery is Point Mugu, CA. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within five days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
