Description
Questions & Answers from Site Visit. *Do we need to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 with our proposal? Yes. *The numbers in the PWS and the numbers on the exhibits do not coorespond. Which numbers do we follow? Follow the numbering in the PWS. The only numbers in the exhibits you need to worry about are the ones attributed to parking lots. The other numbers in the exhibits should be treated as a priority listing only. *The snow removed from the Air Force Memorial, where do we dump it? It will need to be dumped in the areas marked as XXX on the exhibits. *The instructions to offerors states the submissions shall not exceed 15 pages. Does this include MSDS sheets? Resumes of key personnel? Past Performance? Price proposal information? Yes - the 15 pages includes all portions. *Can you please given an example of other indirect work which may need to be performed by the on site supervisors? The only indirect work would include only work associated with supervision. *Section 4.4 of the PWS states MSDS sheets are due 10 days after award but the instructions to offerors states they are a part of the technical proposal. Can you please clarify? Per the Instruction to offerors it states the following: ?Describe the deicing compounds and abrasives proposed for use and submit all related Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and manufacturer?s information.? Please do as it states, but submit the MSDS sheets 10 days after award as stated in the PWS. We are mainly concerned with suggestions, prices, and manufacturer's information at time of proposal. *If multiple applications of chemical are required, will the contractor be paid (under CLIN) the ICE TREATMENT clin times the number of treatments? For example, if it snows 20 inches at one time, and 3 chemical applications are required, will the snow clins be payable x 3? Yes *Are the ice treatments ordered by the government or is the contract performance based and it is under the determination of the contractor? The partial treatments will be requested by the Government. Otherwise it would require you to keep constant watch of all areas to determine if an application is necessary. The main treatments are deemed necessary by the Contractor, but if a partial is needed, the COR will let you know.
