- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for moving and storage services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitat ion, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # W91QF2-07-T-0003 applies and is used as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13 effective September 28, 2006. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A written solicitation is available. The Fort Hamilton Community intends to acquire on a 100% small business set-aside basis, household goods services for Personal Property Fort Hamilton, U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, New York. The requirement consists of packing, crating, and moving a nd storage services for household goods. The period of performance is December 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007. The acquisition will be conducted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 484210; the small business size standard is $21 .5 million. The SIC Code is 4214. The Government may elect to award a single delivery order contract or task order contract or to award multiple delivery order contracts or task order contracts for the required services to two or more sources under the ab ove solicitation.
