Description

Red River Army Depot (RRAD) intends to issue a commercial item, Request For Quote (RFQ) resulting in a Requirements type contract. Multiple awards may result from Solicitation W911RQ-07-T-0021. The contract period will be 12 months after contract awa rd, two (2) option years with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities. Funds will be obligated by issuance of delivery orders (DO). Delivery is within 14 days after receipt of delivery order. Site visit prior to bid is recommended. Cloth items are to b e pre-shrunk material. Items will be worn over clothing. Samples of items are required with the submission of bid/quote. Bid samples are required by this solicitation and shall be submitted as part of the bid and shall be delivered with the bid to Director ate for Contracting, Red River Army Depot, Building 431, ATTN: Leola Threadgill, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Items can be bid as the Brand listed or an Equal Brand. Items required are Caps (Kromer Krushers, Style K), Shopcoats (Universal 1700 / KT30), Apro ns (Chemical Grainger Mfr. Model 4T299A, and Denim, Grainger Condor Mfr. Model 1N874A ), Boiler Coveralls (Universal, Butcher Wear 5920), Flame Resistant Coveralls (Universal, Proban / FR-7A (801-6), Insulated Coveralls (Walls Industries), Industrial Cover alls (Universal Style CT10 ), Flame and Acid Retardant Coveralls (Universal Nomex IIIA, Style CNB6NV), Welders Coveralls (Bulwark, CEH2NV), and Welder Jackets (Universal, Proban / FR-7A). The RFQ will be available for download from the RRAD procurement web site on or about 15 January 2007 at https://www.redriver.army.mil/. Firms downloading the RFQ are asked to check the web site to ensure notification of any future amendments.
