Description

07ER08-No-Solicitation Req #7-2407-0004 The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a sole source non-competitive award via written request for quotation No. 07ER08-No Solicitation number to Teledyne RD Instruments for Rio Grande ADCP and WH Shallow water bottom track for 1200 kHz "ZedHed" Rio Grande Mode 7 High Speed Sampling. This is a new tool for shallow water discharge measurement. Rio Grande can be used for a wide range of river conditions, from shallow 30 cm deep streams to rushing rivers and tidal estuaries where no prior discharge data exists. The USGS anticipates award to Teledyne RD Instruments. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. The anticipated award date is 11/24//2006, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 336991. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
