Description

The subject requirement is for acquisition of one NSN with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4720. See Note(s): 1, 9 and 26. The requirement will result in the award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about November 14, 2006 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for two 1G drawing items. This signifies that the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains and option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base year plus option periods) shall not exceed five years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery and past performance evauation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside with full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
