Description

VAMC-Iowa City Health Care System is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Architecture/Engineering services for "Upgrade Bldg 1 HVAC System Ph VI" at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City, IA. NAICS Code 541310, size standard $4.5 million. Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to provide A/E services as described in the Scope of Work, Qualifications and Services. This project will replace a two cell cooling tower two AC units that cool the elevator penthouse on the 12th floor, including all necessary piping, ductwork, and controls. Remodeling and preparation includes structural, mechanical, and electrical work. A/E contract shall include but not limited to working drawings, specifications, reproduction of bid documents, construction period services, final inspections and as-built drawings. Estimated construction cost range is $300,000 -- $400,000. Estimated cost range for this solicitation is $25,000 to $100,000. Area of consideration, firms must be within 150 miles radius, of the VAMC-Iowa City.
