Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a firm fixed price contract to Delex Systems, Incorporated. This contract will procure upgraded computer programs, documentation and training for the Harpoon Ship Command Launch Control System (HSCLCS) Harpoon Embedded Trainer (HET), and its derivative, the Submarine Encapsulated Harpoon Command and Launch System (EHCLS) Trainer (SET), in support of various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries, as specified in each Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA). (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.) Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Delex is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the HSCLCS HET for the USN baseline 8/9 and 9/10 HSCLCS AN/SWG-1A(V). Delex uniquely possesses the experience and equipment necessary to provide the engineering, technical and management support for the baseline 8/9 and 9/10 HET program as well as the proprietary Block II HET program. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award will be registration in the DODs Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
