Description

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to perform packing and crating of household goods at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan, and suburbs during the period of 1 Jan 07 through 31 Dec 07 with three (3) one-year option periods. This service includes but is not limited to packing, containerization, providing storage and local drayage of household goods for inbound, outbound, intra-city and intra-area services as defined in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the U.S. Government considering the evaluation factors stated in the solicitation. The solicitation is not restricted. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 22 Nov 06 at 1030 hours (local time in Japan) at U.S. Naval Air Facilisty Atsug, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. Firms wishing to attend are requested to respond in writing to this synopsis by 21 Nov 06, 1100 hours (local time in Japan) to Ms Sonomi Yoshihashi, Contract Specialist, by fax or e-mail.
