Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, transportation, supplies, labor and supervision necessary to collect and transport solid waste from trash containers on National Forest land on the Tellico Ranger District of the Cherokee National Forest. Waste is to be disposed of in a Sanitary Landfill approved by the State of Tennessee. Contractor will be reimbursed dollar for dollar for all tipping fees associated with disposition. This solicitation contains two bid items, which will be awarded on an item-by-item basis. Award will be made on a best-value basis, including price, past performance, and other factors. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $25,000 and $99,999. PROJECT LOCATION: Tellico Ranger District, Cherokee National Forest, Monroe County, Tennessee. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-07-0001, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about December 4, 2006 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award of a Federal contract.
