Description
NSN 6630-00-962-8976RN; P/N 1C3903G1; QTY 4 EA; TEST KIT, OIL CONDIT; DATA/DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE. Subject solicitation is hereby revised to include surplus material. The following clauses apply if new/unused or used/overhauled government surplus material is quoted: NEW MANUFACTURED MATERIAL AND GOVERNMENT SURPLUS ONLY-- Both new manufactured material as well as Government surplus material (defined as material which was purchased and accepted by the Government and subsequently sold at disposal or available for sale at Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) as set forth below will be considered acceptable in satisfaction of this requirement. Inspection and acceptance criteria for the surplus material are set forth in Section E hereof. ACCEPTABLE NEW AND UNUSED SURPLUS MATERIAL-- New and unused material is acceptable provided it has never been installed or used. It shows no signs of rust, corrosion, or other deterioration due to age or improper packaging/preservation. It has not been reconditioned and shows no evidence of disassembly or reassembly. ACCEPTABLE USED AND OVERHAULED SURPLUS MATERIAL-- Used and overhauled material is acceptable provided it is material which has been previously installed in operational equipment. It has been or can be completely overhauled, repaired, reconditioned, or modified per the applicable technical specifications to serviceable status. PART NUMBER VERIFICATION--Items must be of the correct part number, 1C3903G1, and must have been manufactured by GENERAL ELECTRIC. VERIFIABLE DIMENSIONS--Items furnished must meet all dimensions which are verifiable without disassembly: (General Electric; drawing number 1C3903G1). LOCATION OF INSPECTION TESTING--The inspection/testing must be performed at a facility selected by the Contractor and approved by the Contract Administration Office. 100 PERCENT END ITEM INSPECTION--A 100 percent end item inspection is required for this item. OVERHAUL AND CERTIFICATION BY AN FAA LICENSED FACILITY--Items must have been overhauled and certified by a Federal Aviation Administration licensed facility.
