Description

This solicitation sets forth the minimum requirements to provide maintenance, repair, construction, and emergency response support for all the secondary and primary electrical distribution systems belonging to White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). The C ontractor shall provide management, tools equipment and labor necessary to operate, maintain, repair and new construction on the electrical power transmission and distribution systems, both primary and secondary. Project includes substations, pole lines, u nderground lines, manholes, service drops to facilities, exterior lighting, and all related components. All exterior electrical work related to power distribution from source to main load distribution point is included. The projected magnitude of this pro ject is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The contract type will be firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity for a base period of two years, with one one-year option to extend. A $300,000.00 minimum guarantee will be included for the base period of performance . No funds will be obligated at the time of contract award. Funds will be provided upon the issuance of individual delivery orders. Each delivery order will include a specific completion date. A site visit will be scheduled for this requirement within 10 days of issuance of the solicitation. The exact date and time will be set forth in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 22 December 2006, with an expected closing date of 22 January 2007 at 0500 hours (MST). This so licitation is restricted to small-business concerns.
