Description
Synopsis W15P7T-07-R-C009 The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to procure hardware for the Communications and Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE-LCMC), Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC), Power Sources Team (PST) for the acquisition of the Armys Universal Rechargeable Battery System Program that includes several types of rechargeable batteries, adapters, chargers, and dischargers. Through this program, the Army provides rechargeable batteries to support a wide variety of communications and electronics equipment including the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System and the Thermal Weapon Sight. The proposed action will increase the ceiling of contract DAAB07-01-D-A504 for the rechargeable batteries from 861,422 to 1,006,233; adapters from 141,913 to 161,515; chargers from 37,543 to 44,249; and dischargers from 39,363 to 42,642, and extend the ordering period from 23 July 2006 to 31 December 2007. The anticipated effort is int ended to be sole source to Brent-Tronics, 10 Brayton Court, Commack, New York 11725. The Government does not possess the required detailed technical data package, to include form, fit, and function (F3), for the required rechargeable batteries, adapters, chargers, and dischargers. The NAICS code for this procurement is 335912 with the corresponding small business size standard of 1000 employees. Items shall be shipped FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Source. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-07-R-C009 and will be issued on or about 8 December 2006. The estimated award date of this procurement is 9 February 2007.
