Description
MODIFICATION: A SAMPLE STATETMENT OF WORK IS AVAILABLE FOR CONTRACTOR REVIEW AND COMMENT. SUGGESTIONS FOR CLARITY AND IMPROVEMENT ARE WELCOME. QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED BUT MAY BE USED TO CLARIFY OR MAKE CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK. PLEASE SEND A DD FORM 2345 OR CURRENT CCR REGISTERATION TO THE FOLLOWING E-MAIL ADDRESS: veronica.anderson@navy.mil. PLEASE PROVIDE COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS BY 3:00 PM DECEMBER 12, 2006. This is a request for information only, as part of a market research study. There is no solicitation package available. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is seeking sources that may be capable of producing the Shaft Engine Test Instrumentation (SETI) System in accordance with a ?Build-To-Print? Level III drawing package. The SETI System is an automated computer-based test, measurement and control system for the purpose of Intermediate testing of aircraft gas turbo-shaft engines in either an indoor or outdoor environment at various military sites. The requirement would be for a total estimated production quantity of twenty-four (24) units, with the first two (2) units being pre-production units to be used for First Article Testing, and potentially, long-term support. The unit shall meet the existing SETI drawings and specifications. Due to the costly and time-consuming testing that would be required, the Government will not be entertaining alternate systems in order to satisfy this need. Only the ?Build-To-Print? system is being considered for procurement. The Government is looking for potential sources for this requirement. All interested parties should send company and/or descriptive literature along with Completed Survey as well as any comments or questions to Ms. Veronica Anderson, e-mail: veronica.anderson@navy.mil, fax: (732) 323-2359 or address: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts, Code 25211VAB562-3, Hwy 547, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-5082. All responses should be received no later than 3:00 PM EST, 19 September 2006. All questions and comments must be in writing, no telephone calls. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. For CCR information, contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center (RAC), at 888-227-2423 or for CCR registration at: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. NOTE: Please send e-mail request for Contractor Survey to Veronica Anderson at the following e-mail address: Veronica.Anderson@navy.mil.
