Description

W9124R-07-T-1011 Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Directorate of Contracting intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced contract on a sole source basis with the Accu-Tech Corporation, 4141 West Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ, 85009. This contract will be for the procurement of 12,800 meters of OCC 12 Fiber, SM, Dual Jacketed Tactical Fiber Part Number OC-0001138 and a quantity of 870, 3M Single Mode SC Hotmelt Part Number 8300. The fiber was specifically designed for use in the testing environment on the firing and test ranges at USAYPG. Accu-Tech Corporation is the only known company with access to this product. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acqu isition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSAL. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional release of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed items. If you feel that youre firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you mus t respond by December 12, 2006 at 5:00 PM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number W9124R-07-T-1011 and emailed to steve.tirone@yuma.army.mil or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6849. See note 22 for the time period exception for r eceipt of proposals for consideration is seven days instead of 45 days.
