- AMENDMENT FOR QUANTITY CLARIFICATION ---- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference number is FA8620-06-M-0002. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-10 effective 28 Jun 2006 and Class Deviation 2005-00001 and DFARS Current to Change Notice 20060711. The solicitation incorporates by reference the following clauses: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, and DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A. NAICS Code: 333298. This is full and open competition. In order to be considered responsive, vendors must quote the item described below or must quote an equal substitute. This item will be shipped FOB Destination; incorporate shipping cost within quote. The lowest priced technically acceptable offer will be awarded the contract. CLIN - 0001 - QUANTITY 5 - ITEM - i3 MicroClean Dry Ice Blasting Machine Description Single Hose low pressure, electric blasting system utilizing dry ice block with as little as 12 cfm and blasts at variable air pressures from 20 - 125 psi (2.1 to 8.6 bar Features to include: - Uses as little as 12cfm of air at blast pressures up to 125 psi (8.6 bar) - Uses as little as 0.2 pounds of dry ice per minute which provides as much as 45 min of blasting before reload - Standard size block configuration available (5inx5inx12in or 6inx6inx12in) - Adjustable blast pressure - Internal blast air filter - Lightweight aluminum frame on transport cart - 12 month warranty - 3/8in quick-disconnect coupler Delivery schedule is sixty to ninety (60-90) days after receipt of order.
