- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: AMOUNT AND TYPE OF SPACE REQUIRED: The United States Governments, acting through the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is seeking to lease office and related space. The facility must be ready to accommodate Government occupancy no later than November 2007. The facility must provide approximately 25,961 BOMA Rentable Square Feet yielding no less than 22,575 Net Usable Square Feet with 105 unreserved parking spaces. The Solicitation For Offer (SFO) for office and related space is for the relocation and force move from the NIH Bethesda Campus to off site space. LOCATION: Must be located within the following delineated area of the Bethesda-Rockville, Maryland area commonly referred to as the Executive Boulevard, Twinbrook or Rock Spring clusters. For Executive Blvd and Twinbrook clusters are more broadly defined as North of Tiden Land, South of Veirs Mill Rd, East of 270 and West of Twinbrook Pwky. For Rock Spring cluster is more broadly defined as North of 495, South 270 spur, East of 270 spur and West of Old Georgetown. The NIH reserves the right to further define these clusters without further notification. TERM: The lease term is ten (10) years with termination rights after the 5th year anniversary date with 180 days advance written notice. LETTER OF INTEREST: Expressions of interest must be received in writing at the address cited below by 3 P.M. on December 6, 2006. At a minimum, the following information must be submitted: 1. A complete description of the site, address, site plan, floor plan or other descriptive documents; 2. Age and class of the facility; 3. Evidence of ownership, control, and/or agency status establishing your right to submit the information; 4. Parking information; 5. If the building is to be sold, provide detailed information on the status; and 6. Additional information or comments.
