Description

MAIL TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT TEAM November 24, 2006 Ref: Solicitation for Commercial Warehouse Services Solicitation: 3CMTES-07-A-0002 The United States Postal Service is looking for Suppliers for Commercial Warehouse Services in the vacinity of Hartford Connecticuit. The Supplier shall provide a full service commercial warehouse and storage facility. The desired location should be in the counties facility must be accessible by way of County, City, State or federally maintained roads with no commercial restrictions. (including, but not limited to underpasses less than 13?6?). The current requirements include 100,000 Sq. Ft. of Guaranteed Storage space with the option of 50,000 Sq. Ft. Additional Storage space capabilities. The supplier will be required to perform this service within the guidelines in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), developed by the USPS MTE Program Office, entitled ?COMMERCIAL FULL-SERVICE MTE WAREHOUSE AND STORAGE FACILITY?. The Period of Performance (POP) for the commercial warehouse may have a base one-year contract, with four one-year options. The total life of the POP, including the options, may be five (5) years if the U. S. Postal Service decides to exercises all four (4) additional option years. Suppliers will have to pre-qualify before being consideration for acceptance of a competitive bid.
