Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13 effective Sept. 28, 2006. The requirement is being solicited as a 100% set-aside for small businesses using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 423810 with a Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. Solicitation number: R9-ORB-07-7029 applies. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is anticipated. CLIN 0001: CRAWLER DUMPER, Morooka Model: MST 300 VDR or equal. Salient requirements: 180 degree rotating bed, roll bar & back-up alarm installed, minimum 12 month Manufacturer warranty, owner?s manual/kit, and delivery to Wayne National Forest (address at bottom of solicitation). QUANTITY: 1 EACH. Delivery required 45 days after receipt of order. Quotes to be submitted FOB Destination. Inspection and Acceptance is at destination. Vendors should include warrantee terms and conditions and prompt payment discounts with their quotation. Evaluation and Award: The government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the best value to the government considering price and technical requirements. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this request for quotation and are incorporated by reference and/or full text as required: The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial (SEP 2006) apply to this acquisition without addenda. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition without addenda. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms And Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (SEP 2006) is incorporated.
