- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS APROXIMATELY 10,300 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE AND LIGHT INDUSTRIAL SPACE FOR THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY (USGS) IN RAPID CITY, SD. The USGS is seeking to lease professional office and light industrial space within the following area and all prospective properties must be physically located within, or front the following delineated area: North Boundary Omaha Street West Boundary Soo San Drive to Canyon Lake Drive to Jackson Boulevard to Sheridan Lake Road South Boundary Rapid City Limits Line to 5th ST and Catron Blvd to Highway 16, south on either side of Hwy 16 to Moon Meadows Drive, west to Catron Blvd to Sheridan Lake Road East Boundary 16T (Campbell Street) For further clarification of the delineated area - a detailed map is available upon request. All prospective buildings/properties must be physically located within, or front, the delineated area. Buildings submitted for consideration must be professional in appearance, and of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) for disabled access, and must be altered or constructed to meet the Government's requirements. Space must contain a minimum of 7300 square feet of general office and lab space and 3000 square feet of Light Industrial and storage space. A fenced ware yard of 11,000 square feet is required for government vehicles and equipment. Parking for visitors and government employees must be provided on site. The lease shall be a fully serviced lease incorporating as part of the rental consideration all services and supplies, taxes, insurance, maintenance, and tenant improvements. To submit a location for inspection, expressions of interest must be submitted in writing no later than December 15, 2006 and should include the following: Address/location of site, square footage, name, address and phone number of individual to be contacted, name of recorded owner, and evidence of authority to represent the owner as necessary.
