Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm fixed price modifcation with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Rancho Bernardo, CA under contract N00019-05-C-0040 to integrate a new Jet Assisted Take-Off (JATO) System into the BQM-74E Aerial Target System. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole producer of the BQM-74E aerial target. Only Northrop Grumman has access to the proprietary data and technical expertise to integrate this new JATO system into the BQM-74E in the time frame required. This is not a request for proposal.
