Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Information Technology Council (ITI), Atlanta, GA under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting From a Single Source, to renew annual executive board membership in the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS). This is a sole source requirement as ITI is the designated Secretariat in the Americas for renewing the membership. A fixed price purchase order will be issued on or about Dec. 21, 2006 for a 1 year period with one 1 year option to extend the term of the purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ)
