BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION The IBM AIX Server OS maintenance, support and services is for the E-Auth and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiatives. The AIX Server OS software is required to operate the IBM hardware for the E-Auth and EDW Initiatives. The hardware that stores the AIX Server OS is located at the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Disaster Recovery Facility. If the maintenance, support and services are not purchased the hardware would not operate and the Department would be unsupported.
