Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (No Substitutes): 40 each; Hardigg custom built shipping cases, PN# iM2750. Specifications: Color: Tan, airtight with vortex breather valve, comfort grip handles; push pull latches, lockable, edge casters with extension handle, battery shock mounted deck with straps to hold 12v batterry 90 lbs, L 12 i nches, W 6 1/8 inches, H 8 3/8 inches. Shock mounts for the charger -10 lbs, L 8 ? inches, W 8 ? inches, H 3 inches. Three bulk head connectors, 2 RJ45, female to female with water proof cap and 1- 90-240v plug adapter. Labeling at connector points. Al l internal equipment must be mounted for air circulation. Mounting point for the two Citel lightning arrestors, L 3 ? inches, W 1 ? inches, H 1 inch. Mounting point for two POE devices. Mounting point for antenna, L 24 inches, W 1 ? inch. Mounting poin t for the CRM box, L 8 inches, W 8 inches, H 3 inches. Mounting point for the WIDS: L 8 ? inches, W 6 ? inches, H 2 ? inches. Mounting point for air fortress 1100 and 2100: universal: AF1100, L 9 inches, W 6 1/8 inches, H 2 inches. AF2100, L 8 ? inch es, W 6 1/8 inches, H 2 inches. One 24v fan with mounted inside box for air circulation, fan: L 5 inches, W 4 ? inches. One zipper pouch for accessories: L 10 ? inches, W 5 inches, H 5 inches. Heat durable and able to allow heat exchange of 140 BTU per hour. FOB DESTINATION FORT HUACHUCA, ARIZONA. Payment will be made by Government credit card under Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 12 noon, Mountain Standard Time, Friday, 1 December 2006 and shall be submitted electronically at: carmen.simotti @epg.army.mil. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the requirement, Delivery Schedule: equipment must be delivered no later than 8 December 2006, Past Performance, and Price. The synopsis/solicitation document and incoporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 423840. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price. All Electronic and Information Technology will be Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliant. The following FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, applies to the acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition (See evaluation criteria above). Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes with its offer.
