Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed-Price contract with Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), Tucson, Arizona, for the refurbishment/upgrade of 494 Sidewinder AIM-9M Guidance and Control Sections (GCS) Units and 229 Upgrade Kits for sale to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. RMS is the only qualified vendor that possesses the requisite technical and engineering capability, in-depth knowledge, data, and experienced personnel capable of fulfilling the aforementioned requirements within the specified timeframe.
