Description

This is an amendment to the original posting changing the required response time and date to 3:00 PM PST on 12/8/2006. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement for delivery of Safety and Occupational eyewear for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) and its tenant commands. The Government requires that lenses and frames meet the current and future ANSI Z87.1 and ANSI Z80.1 standards in addition to the PSNS requirements. A solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.This procurement effort will be processed in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government requires an FOB destination delivery.
