- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Security and Counter Intelligence Directorate (SC) has a need for a contractor to provide Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) operations, Antiterrorism/Force Protection Assessment Services and Security Personnel Services to support its mission. • The Government requires one SCIF to operate 24/7 and two SCIFs to operate 12 hours a day 5 days a week with core hours between 0900 and 1500 hours. It is also the Government’s intent that possibly during national defense crises this work can expand to meet current needs of the government. Current TOP SECRET security clearance based on current SSBI with SCI eligibility is required. • The Government requires an experienced security assessment team to travel up to 25% of the time to perform vulnerability assessments and monitor progress of antiterrorism projects around the world. The Team will travel using standard government travel and per diem rates to locations as required. Current TOP SECRET based on current SSBI with SCI eligibility is required. • The Government requires another team to provide initial and departure security briefings, NATO, CNWDI, Non Disclosure briefings, and personnel security administration for DTRA during the core hours of operations. Current TOP SECRET security clearance based on SSBI is required. It is estimated that a Team of approximately 20 personnel will be required to meet the current work requirements. The contract is expected to be less than $15 million over a 5 year period of performance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for these services is 928. Point of Contact William.Cartis_contractor@dtra.mil Additional Information • The Government currently anticipates an award of a 5 year contract. • Majority of work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, VA. • Contractor must have a final TOP SECRET facility clearance to meet minimum requirements for this contract proposal. • It is expected that an award will be made in January 2007 and period of performance to start on or about 15 February 2007. • This is a presolicitation notice only. The Government anticipates issuance of a draft solicitation on or about 25 August and a presolicitation conference (PSC) conducted in mid September. • Release of the Final RFP is expected two weeks after the PSC.
