Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Audie L Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital, 7400 Merton Mentor Ave., San Antonio, Texas is looking for firms, SBA certified in the following programs: 8(a), HUBZone, SDB, WOSB, SDVOSB, and/or VOSB. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS Code 236220 with a small business size standard of $31 million and a bonding capacity of approximately $10 million and must have general construction and site development experience with contracts as the prime contractor in the $5 million to $10 million range. The project scope provides for the necessary labor, materials and equipment to add a third floor to an existing two story structure (Bldg. 1, Area 3G). General construction, structural erection, mechanical / electrical, fire alarm, tele/data and other systems are included along with a limited amount of existing roof demolition and structural framing demolition. The Architect responsible for the design is Chesney-Morales & Associates, 4901 Broadway, Suite 250, San Antonio, Texas, 78209.
