- Description
- This modification is to extend the response date to 30 December 2006. This acquisition is to obtain a three year (basic year and two annual options) firm fixed price contract for the Main Bolt Assembly applicable to the UH-1N Helicopter. NSN: 1615-00-830-9736GA, P/N: 204-011-151-1, Noun: Main Bolt Assembly. Basic year quantity is 1 EA First Article, 1 EA First Article Test Report, and 143 EA production quantity, option quantities are 1-235 EA for each of 2 options. Requested delivery of production quantity is on or before June 2007. First Article is required from companies who have not made this part for the DOD in the last 36 months. Data will be made available at time of solicitation, which is estimated at 17 November. This part requires engineering source approval by the control activity to assure the integrity of the part if procured from other than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or current approved source. The only known approved Air Fore source is the OEM. Any alternative source must qualify according to the design control activity?s procedures as approved by the applicable government engineering activity, WR-ALC/580 ACSSS/Engineering Flight. Source approval information/requirements are documented in "UH-1/TH-1 Source Approval Request Guidance," WR/H-1/06-43, dated 18 July 2006.
