This session will be pres ented in two parts: Part 1 (0900-1100) will be dedicated to providing prospective teams with an overview of the DAI acquisition strategy, in particular the Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Section B; and Part 2 (1200-1500) will be focused on training on the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS). The location of this event is the Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA) located at 1851 South Bell Street (Crystal Mall #3), Arlington, VA 22240, Room 318. Industry representatives interested in participating should contact Ms. Shelle Harpley-Hoppa at shelle.harpley@bta.mil by 7 December 2006 in order to pre-register for this session. Due to the secure location, no late or walk-in registrants will be able to attend. On the day of the conference, attendees are required to: ? Register at the front desk at CM#3; ? Provide security with a government- or state-issued identification card (i.e. drivers license); and ? Wait for an identified BTA employee to confirm registration and escort you to the room. Industry participation is on a first come basis. Participation is limited to no more than fifty (50) individuals from industry with a maximum of two (2) participants per company, per session. Industry representatives must identify which participants will be attending which session, if not the entire day. The BEA/SFIS training will consist of detailed presentations and interactive discussion around the specific data elements and business rules that will be fundamental to a successful solution for DAI. We encourage industry to keep this in mind when determining the skill set and role of the people who attend this session.
