Description

Headquarters Forces Command (FORSCOM) U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center-East intends to issue a Solicitation for basic level language training/pre-deployment training and refresher training for one or more foreign langu ages to include but not limited to Arabic, Korean, Persian-Farsi, Russian and Spanish. These languages will be taught at Ft. Bragg, NC; Ft. Campbell, KY; Ft. Drum, NY; Ft. Polk, LA; Ft. Stewart, GA; Hunter Army Airfield, GA; Ft. Lewis, WA and Ft. Hood, TX; various U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) locations; as well as other supported customers with up to four (4) levels of difficulty per locality. The contractor shall provide the administrative support; Learning Center (Language Laboratory) Operator suppor t for selected language laboratories/instructors; language training material development/adaptation; and instructional services. The proposed instructors must be familiar with the Interagency Language Roundtable Language Skill Level Descriptions for langua ge proficiency in the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The Government anticipates awarding a Performance-Based Service Acquisition requirements type contract that will include a base period of twelve (12) months plus four (4) one-year op tions. North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) 611630; size standard $5.0 million and Federal Service Code R419 apply. Solicitation will be posted as a Full & Open competition to the FedBizOpps website: www.FedBizOpps.gov on or abouth 1 5 December 2006. No hard copy of Solicitation will be issued.
