Description

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Roche Diagnostics Corporation. The procurement will provide the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBFAC) with missi on critical materials/reagent kits. The NBFAC will use the requested Roche Diagnostics Corporation GS20 sequencing reagents to perform sequencing assays on diagnostic samples. The reagent kit is designed, optimized and marketed by Roche Diagnostics Corpora tion for use on Roche GS20 instrumentation. The sequencing assays have been designed and optimized using reagents obtained from Roche. Any company that believes that it can meet these requirements is invited to submit written notification to the Contract Specialist within 15 calendar days from the date of the publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficie nt detail to demonstrate the companys ability to meet the requirement. Information may be sent by email to the Contract Specialist at: john.fitzsimmons@amedd.army.mil . This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, responses r eceived from responsible businesses prior to close of business on 15 December 2006 will be evaluated. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source order. See numbered Note 22.
