Description: The Birmingham VA Medical Center has the intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hill Rom for the purchase of (10) reconditioned Advanta beds. The VAMC has this type beds throughout the hospital and standardization is needed due to staff already having been educated and trained on this bed. To purchase this bed will also enchance patient/staff safety since the use and operations of the beds will be identical.
