Description

Firm Fixed-Price contract to Provide Integrated Pest Management and Critter Control Services at Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period 1 February 2007 through 31 January 2008, with four one-year option periods. Service includes, but is not limited t o, prevention and control of mosquitoes, termites, flies, ants, spiders, cockroaches, beetles, rodents, and other nuisance pests, as well and control of nuisance wildlife and feral animals. Services shall be provided at range and training areas, airfields , medical and dental clinics, barracks, food service facilities, and facilities and grounds. Services are required on an as-needed basis, Monday through Friday. Emergency services performed after hours and on weekends are expected to be isolated and infre quent. Unless otherwise stated to be Government-furnished, the contractor is required to provide all labor, material, travel, and equipment necessary to perform the required services. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid. Bidders will be required to submit copies of required certifications, licenses, and permits with the bid. The solicitation will be posted to the Fort Knox Directorate of Contracting homepage at http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 13 December 2006 with bids due on or about 10 January 2007. These dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
