Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Department of Energy (DOE) has a requirement to provide technical support services to the Office of Legacy Management (LM). LM’s primary mission is to manage the DOE’s post-closure responsibilities and to ensure the future protection of human health and the environment. This competitive acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS Code 562910, Remediation Services, with a size standard of 500 employees. A single performance-based, labor-hour award fee contract is contemplated. The proposed period of performance consists of a base period of 36 months and one 24-month option period. The incumbent contractor for this award is S. M. Stoller Corporation, Contract No. DE-AC01-02GJ79491, valued at approximately $200M. The following types of services shall be required: 1) Technical Support; 2) Business Support; 3) Records Management Support; 4) Information Technology Support; and 5) Property Management Support. Attached to this notice is the DRAFT Performance Work Statement. The entire solicitation will be made available for downloading on this page on or about September 5, 2006. Interested small business parties should immediately register on IIPS from the DOE e-center page in order to have access to the resultant solicitation and to be able to submit an electronic proposal. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for the release of any additional information, or other related documents. To assist in this process, it is suggested after interested parties have registered on DOE-IIPS to click-on the button entitled, “Join Mailing List” and fill-out the required information to receive automated notifications.
