- Description
- DUCT SEGMENT-T, NSN: 2840-01-504-5226NZ. P/N: 4086467. APPL: F100 ENGINES. DESTN: Tinker AFB Central Receiving. DELIVERY: 30 MAR 2007. QUANTITY: 3,928/7,856/11,784 EA. Solicitation FA8104-07-R-0038. Qualification requirements: This part will be acquired directly from the actual mfg. Drawings are proprietary to Pratt & Whitney. The government does not own sufficient data to compete this item. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item. Written quotations for sub-contracting opportunities should be submitted TO: PRATT & WHITNEY (52661). The requirements of FAR 9.202(a)(1) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate response date will be 2 DEC 2006. The anticipated award date is 8 DEC 2006. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed above. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405)736-3273. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Note: The solicitation will be posted on the FedBiz Ops on or about 30 NOV NOV 2006. See note(s) 22, 26.
