Description

This is combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) number 07SQ6A0012. All quotes to reference this RFQ number and shall be submitted by 4 pm, local time on 12-19-2006. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 332410. The small business size is 500 employees. Line item number 1- Rebuild Boysen generator air coolers as per attached statement of work. Line item number 2 - shipping cost anything over $100 will need a freight bill or letter stating the shipping cost. UPON AWARD THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING THE COOLERS FROM AND TO BOYSEN POWERPLANT. The coolers will be available starting JANUARY 16, 2007. All work must be completed and returned by MARCH 6, 2007. A SITE VISIT IS RECOMMENDED, visits can be arranged during normal business hours Monday - Thursday from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Pittsley at 307-261-5691 bidders must include Federal Tax Identification Number and Duns and Bradstreet Number. NOTE: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor to be awarded a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors may register at www.ccr.gov Note: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All the representations and certifications which used to be submitted within Section K are now located online. To complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), contractors need to go to http://orca.bpn.gov Note: Contractor's must submit their Tax Identification Number and Data Universal Number with their offer (GP-20).
